Travel Diary: Short and Sweet Getaway in Bahrain

Al Fateh Grand Mosque in Bahrain

Earlier this month, we went to Bahrain which initially, we planned to travel by plane. But, the flight schedules from Riyadh to Bahrain did not fit with our work schedule. So, we opted to travel by land. I went there together with my colleagues/friends, Christian, Ann Chris and Selena. Also, we have (and need to have) a couple companion, Christian's parents, Tito Dan and Tita Emmy, who were super nice and kept us entertained throughout the the trip as well.

Travel Thursday: Boracay Island

Boracay is one of the most famous tourist destination in the Philippines. Right now, aside from the wonderful beach, white powdery sand, super blue water, you can now experience a lot of different fun activities there.

Travel Thursday: Carabao Island, Romblon

Welcome to another Travel Thursday! Today I'll share my trip to Carabao Island (or town of San Jose) in Romblon Province. This place has the best beach I've seen so far.

Travel Thursday: Caleruega, Nasugbu, Batangas

Together with my college classmates, we went to Caleruega in Nasugbu, Batangas in 2010 as a reunion. Caleruega is famous for holding events like weddings, retreats and other religious (Catholic) activities. I's say the place is quite romantic as well. It is has a church or chapel, reception areas, picnic areas, etc. So day trip is also a good option if you want to just relax and unwind. The view is amazing, it has a Tuscany-ish scenery. It's 15 to 20 minutes drive from Tagaytay City.

Photo Gal: Brave the Wave

Since it is weekend, I decided to post some fun, less serious stuff. I love going to the beach and swimming. It’s fascinating how waves can be really harsh some times and calm other times.

Travel Thursday: Enchanted Kingdom

Yay! Now who doesn’t love going to theme parks. It was so much fun, challenging (riding tough rides) and nauseating (Because I forgot that anti-vertigo pill.) Anyway, I still survived Space Shuttle and Anchor’s Away. So here are fun photos with my friends when we visited Enchanted Kingdom last May.

Travel Thursday: Ilocos Norte

So here's the rest of my trip to Ilocos. Last week I posted photos from the Ilocos Sur.

Ilocos is about 8 to 10 hours drive from where I live, but the long trip is definitely worth it. It has historical places and beautiful beaches, plus amazing food! We stayed there for three days and two nights.

Travel Thursday: Ilocos Sur

Here are some photos when I went to Ilocos Provinces with some friends in March 2010. In this post are the ones taken at Ilocos Sur. We went sight seeing, swimming, almost no sleeping, eating (I love their food, I'll talk about it in details in a different post), etc. And we had so much fun!

I must say, Ilocos Sur is not as exciting as the Norte though (I'll post photos next Travel Thursday), but what I really enjoyed is visiting the Heritage Village in Vigan.
