Earlier this month, we went to Bahrain which initially, we planned to travel by plane. But, the flight schedules from Riyadh to Bahrain did not fit with our work schedule. So, we opted to travel by land. I went there together with my colleagues/friends, Christian, Ann Chris and Selena. Also, we have (and need to have) a couple companion, Christian's parents, Tito Dan and Tita Emmy, who were super nice and kept us entertained throughout the the trip as well.

I had a very good relationship with this product. I've been using it for roughly two years, and that alone could sum up this review, and that is it. I mean it just means that this product is a holy grail beauty find.

It was a difficult time for me that past one and a half year since I moved and worked to another country, where the culture is far different from, maybe the rest of the countries in the globe.

I've been to a trip to another country last week, and a native told us when he knew where we are from "if you survived living there, you will survive living anywhere in the world." And yes, I guess that's true.

One more reason, I didn't get a laptop until last month, so now is a good time to get back on my writing.

So, my dear blogger friends and all my readers, this time, I'm really hoping not to slack on work anymore.

Lush Skin Care Review: Tea Tree Water

The second product for my Lush skin care review series is the Tea Tree Water Toner.  Tea Tree is widely known for combating oily, combination and blemish prone skin. However, unlike other products that fights these conditions, it is not alcohol based and not very drying. I’ve used Tea Tree products from The Body Shop, so I’m quite familiar with how Tea Tree works before trying this out.

When it comes to skin care, I’ve always thought that organic product would not be too beneficial for my problematic skin. If you have acne prone skin, you think about using potent products (which I’ve used before and it is effective, I made a post about it) to combat breakouts, well at least for me. So I’m skeptical about trying out Lush skin care and it would be such a risk since it’s not cheap.

Travel Thursday: Caleruega, Nasugbu, Batangas

Together with my college classmates, we went to Caleruega in Nasugbu, Batangas in 2010 as a reunion. Caleruega is famous for holding events like weddings, retreats and other religious (Catholic) activities. I's say the place is quite romantic as well. It is has a church or chapel, reception areas, picnic areas, etc. So day trip is also a good option if you want to just relax and unwind. The view is amazing, it has a Tuscany-ish scenery. It's 15 to 20 minutes drive from Tagaytay City.

Laura Mercier is one brand that is well known for their amazing skin care and makeup line. The brand’s Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Oil Free is the first and only product (yet) that I bought from them. It says it will give lightweight flawless coverage.
